‘With over 25,000 members and supporters and 50 chapters nationally, Call To Action educates, inspires and activates Catholics to act for justice and build inclusive communities through a lens of anti-racism and anti-oppression principles’. Call to Action is an organization of progressive Catholics that organizes for inclusion (especially of women and LGBTQ people) and justice in the Catholic Church and Catholic communities. The leadership team encourages the community to “forge ahead” in cultivating structural change in the Catholic Church. The website offers an abundance of information regarding church worker justice, lay engagement, LBGT justice, racial justice, and women and girls equality. It also includes content regarding volunteering events, products sold, prayers and teachings, how to become a member of the Call to Action team, and more.
